Training & Qualifications

I am a fully qualified psychotherapist and counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I adhere to the BACP’s Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I have a Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and Counselling from the University of East London, UK.

I also have a Certificate in Psychotherapy, Counselling and Coaching from the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling, London, UK, with a focus on Existential therapy.

I have followed additional training in Inner Child Healing with the Centre for Excellence.

I also hold a Master Degree in Communication and Public Relations.

I previously worked in the charity sector with a focus on mental health and wellbeing as well as social and urban regeneration.  This experience has enriched my understanding and insight into the broader social, cultural and environmental aspects that can contribute to shaping our development as individuals.

I am continuing my professional development on a regular basis (CPD) and I receive ongoing supervision, in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.  In this respect,  I am currently undertaking a Complex Trauma Certification Training with the Professional Education Systems Institute, UK (PESI).
