I offer a confidential, warm, and non-judgmental space where you can feel heard and safely start a process of self-exploration and understanding.
Through our work together I aim to support you to make positive changes in your life, by gaining a greater awareness of any potential beliefs that may no longer serve you and allowing for greater self-acceptance and more control over the decisions you make in your life. As we uncover any potential blocks and build on your inner resources, you can begin to gain more inner freedom and to live more authentically while making better informed and more congruent life choices.
Through both professional and personal experience, I have had a chance to witness the importance of relationship in the therapeutic journey which has become a cornerstone of my therapeutic work.
Being an Integrative therapist means I wholeheartedly embrace a personalised approach. I’m trained to thoughtfully draw from a wide range of theories and methods, including Psychodynamic, Humanistic, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapies, to create a bespoke therapeutic experience that meets you where you are.
The Psychodynamic approach looks at how your past experiences, particularly those from childhood, might unconsciously be shaping your feelings and behaviour today. We explore these deeper roots to create lasting change.
Humanistic therapy focuses on your potential and inner resources, trusting your innate ability to grow. I provide the non-judgmental space you need to explore who you truly are and live more authentically.
CBT is a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps you identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours in the present moment, offering concrete tools for managing difficulties like anxiety or stress.
Specialised Somatic and Trauma-Informed Approaches
My practice is enriched by specialised training in trauma and the mind-body connection, allowing me to gently address issues that are held within the body.
Compassionate Inquiry (CI) Professional Online Training Graduate: I am a graduate of the Compassionate Inquiry approach, developed by Dr. Gabor Maté and Sat Dharam Kaur. CI is a somatic and psychotherapeutic approach that gently uncovers and releases layers of childhood trauma, constriction, and suppressed emotion embedded in the body, which are often at the root of physical and mental distress.
Integrative Somatic Parts Work Level 3 (with Fran D Booth): I am trained in the integration of somatic (body-based) practices with ‘parts’ work (similar to Internal Family Systems), helping you to understand and harmonise the different aspects of yourself.
Embodiment Coaching Certificate (with Mark Walsh): This training further allows me to incorporate body-awareness and movement principles to help you feel more grounded, present, and authentic.
